Apparently, people graduating this year (MY YEAR) told Dean Brabek that we want to be the first to graduate under the new name for Steinhardt, aka the Steinhardt School of Education.  Apparently, the new stupid name of our college is "The Steinhardt School for Culture, Education, and Communication".  What the crap, guys?  That name is dumb.  You wanted to make the name more inclusive, yet left out majors like Visual Arts and Nursing.  Those are HUGE majors too.  Oh, and Music Business and Vocal Performance and Dance and Musical Theater.  Why not just call it "The Steinhardt School for all Majors that Don't Fit Anywhere Else"? ORRRRR..... JUST LEAVE IT THE STEINHARDT SCHOOL FOR EDUCATION.  CAS doesn't include Econ or Psychology or Philosophy or Spanish/Italian/German/French in it's title and peopel get the damn idea.  Jeeeeeeeez.  Oh NYU, always making stuff worse than you started it.
