There was a HUGE storm in Manhattan last night.  Well, a rainstorm.  With giant bolts of lightning and claps of thunder. It was really beautiful, but was still going on when I went to bed at midnight. So I get in my bed, and remember that my mom is always gung-ho about turning off computers in thunderstorms in case there is a power surge, yada-yada-yada.  So I do. I get up, and I turn my computer off. It deserved a night off anyway.

Get up this morning, shower, realize I have time to check my email, so I turn my computer back on.  Oh wait, no I don't, because apparently it's fucked up now.  It goes to this scary blue screen with serif white writing.  AWESOME.  That get's an awesome.

So now...maybe ITS will come to help me?
