Title kind of says it all. I think the last few weeks have gone fast - I don't really believe I'm going back to New York tomorrow. I'm happy. But back to New York DOES signify the end of break, even though technically 'work' shouldn't start until after Martin Luther King Jr. Day, January like 17th or so. I mean, I want to go to work at NEST all day every day for 2 weeks and make sooo much money, but I also like laying around this house all day being a complete lazy-ass. There won't be a TV in New York, not that we really had channels. Jess may or may not be moving in...but the room will be WEIRD without my Banga there. I'm excited as hell to have Jess back, but I really did have an amazing roommate in Angie. I wasn't sure I would, at first, but she really is amazing. I hope she has a WONDERFUL time in Florence. I hope she misses me. If she doesn't, I'll kick her butt.
Anyway, I'm going with mommy on some kind of interview with a woman who has two horses. It is cold and gross and rainy out, but I'll go for horses. I am such a sucker for animals. I love them.
Crappp - I just realized that when I get back to New York, I have some HARDCORE present wrapping to complete. Even though I don't expect to be getting presents in return from some of the people, I can't not give them. They're my girls. I am in love with them
. And I should call Jess when I get to the City, because the Omaha Boys (and the infamous Carly) are in town and I would truly love to see them. Oo - I just thought about that time last year when the Dinosaur Phone rang, and it was Andrew, and before I could say, "Sorry, Jess is out for the night" he goes, "Well, we know Jess is out, but we wanted to say hi to you". How awesome is that? They're such sweethearts. Speaking of phone calls, I should REALLY find my cell phone. Since it doesn't work up here, I haven't used it and thus don't know where it went (though I'm sure it's in my bookbag where I thought I put it).
Shower time. Laters.
