My kids were AMAZING today. Erica was out, the sub was soooo sweet and let me truly just take over and do my thing, giving support where necessary. Amazing. I didn't get to eat all day, not until cake for Helen's birthday at 4:00 and an apple at around 6:30, but I don't care. I don't feel it. I am the happiest person in the world right now. To the point where it's been, I don't know, FIVE hours since I had to tell them my last day was Wednesday, and I was still rocking out on the subway because I just couldn't contain it.
